ICT-DRV project results
- The status-quo of e-learning and simulator based learning within professional driver qualification
These results contain information on the current situation (2013/2014) with regard to application of e-learning and simulators, legal framework, emerging practices but also the scientifc basics underlying the facilitation of learning supported by technology.
- The piloting of instructional design improved e-learning and simulator training as well as the trainer competences necessary in order to implement/ facilitate them
These results will provide summaries of the four pilots/ prototypes developed within the ICT-DRV project as well as the results of testing these pilots. Furthermore it provides information on the projects research and development results with regard to trainer competences necessary in order to implement such training based on instructional design and therefore learning considerations.
- Quality recommendations for the application of e-learning and simulator-based learning within professional driver training
All research and development work implemented within ICT-DRV leads to a number of recommendations with regard to high-quality integration of e-learning and simulator-based learning into professional driver training with a focus on the learning dimension. This is summarised in quality indicators, policy recommendations and national implementation scenarios of these recommendations.
- Dialogue and Networking tools
In order to increase quality within the implementation of technology-based training with a special focus on the learning dimension a close cooperation between developers, VET providers, scientists on learning and teaching matters as well as official/ public bodies is urgently necessary. That's why ICT-DRV provides a number of tools and proposals in order to facilitate such a dialogue and networking for the sake of quality improvement and development.
- Further results
Besides these previously planned results project work always leads also to other results such as policy inputs, position papers, etc..
